Why Does Yateley Manor's PTA
exist?
It exists to promote our
children’s learning by providing:

social interaction between our families and
teaching staff
·
a range of activities for our children, families
and teaching staff to take part in
·
the financial means to buy extra resources for the
school.
Charitable Status
Yateley Manor’s Parent Teacher Association is a recognised Charity
and a member of the National Confederation of Parent Teacher Associations.
We are a very busy PTA, supported extremely well by the children,
teachers and families of Yateley Manor and find that our fundraising takes
3 forms:
1.
Larger fundraising at organised events:
We create opportunities for our children and their
families to meet socially at a mixture of events throughout the year for
example Christmas Gift Fayre, Quiz Night, May Fair and Spring Ball. *

*We
endeavour to accommodate everyone who applies for tickets to our
events. However, very occasionally, due to number restrictions,
we sadly disappoint some who apply late. We work on a first come,
first served basis and urge parents therefore to return application forms
for tickets to school as soon as possible. Once an event is
“full” we fully advertise this in Inamos, our Notice Board, and our
Website.
2.
Smaller fundraising through Inamos:
Inamos is the school’s weekly newsletter
which your children bring home every Friday. Occasionally there will
be a leaflet enclosed offering for example wrapping paper for all
occasions. Ordering is made simple and the PTA earns a small
percentage from each purchase parents make. These tried and tested ways of
earning us funds have become firm favourites with Yateley Manor
families.

Ongoing fundraisers:
We have 3 ‘ongoing fundraisers’ which continue to
raise funds throughout the year.
Easy2Name Labels - are a suite of labels
for your child’s every item of clothing or property. Let’s make it
easy for property to be returned to its rightful owner at school, by us
doing our bit and labelling everything our children take into
school. Labels are available from the School Shop or directly from the Easy2Name
website . . .
Mobile Phones
- pass on to us those old, unused phones, chargers, boxes and instruction
booklets. We in turn sell these onto a company who refurbishes them
and takes them to poorer countries. Seek out your old and unwanted
mobile phones and hand them into reception for our collection.
Crockery, Cutlery
& Glass Hire – The PTA
owns large collections of these at considerably reduced rates for our
families and teaching staff. We also have a selection of gazebos to
keep you dry if there is a threat of inclement weather! Contact Niki Holden for further
